Times Music celebrates 10th Anniversary with launch of ‘Amrita Pritam – Recited by Gulzar’

MUMBAI:Times Music celebrated its 10th anniversary with the evening dedicated to music and poetry at Worli , Mumbai with the launch of the album , ‘Amrita Pritam – Recited by Gulzar‘ on 7 May 2007.

The event saw Gulzar Saab tributing Amrita Pritam by reading out some of her finest poems, while singer turned actor Rajeshwari Sachdev was hosting and even read out ‘Junglee Booti’ one of Amrita Pritam’s short stories. At the end of the evening Gulzar Saab performed ghazal from his album.

The evening was graced by some of the biggest names in the film and music fraternity, actress turned politician Jaya Bachchan, film director Yash Chopra, with P S Pasricha, Hariharan, Leslie Lewis, Pinaaz Masani, Rajendra Mehta, Neena Mehta, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, Bhupinder and Mitali Singh, Rahul Sharma, Babul Supriyo, K.J. Singh, Imroz Saab and Amrita Pritam’s son Navraj Kwatra.
