Under the given circumstances of “Parris Attacks” the chief editor of radio multicult.fm in Berlin has decided to present today “World Wide Sounds” as people from 15 different countries have lost their lifes on 13th November 2015…
On Friday night the world was hit and is still under shock… as it seems many people from at least 15 different nations had been killed (Source of picture: The Guardian – “Paris terror attacks: identities of victims from more than a dozen countries emerge“).
R.I.P. and our condolences go to the families and friends of several of our colleagues in music industries have been killed: the 36-year-old Briton Nick Alexander was the merchandise manager for Eagles of Death Metal, Guillaume B. Decherf was 43-year-old father of two and a music journalist for Les Inrockuptibles (a French music and culture magazine), Thomas Ayad, a 34-year-old resident of Amiens (France) was an International Product Manager for Mercury Records, a division of Universal Music France. Two more Universal employees named Marie and Manu were also among the victims (Source: NewYorkTimes – http://nym.ag/1lp6UxH ).
if a journalist flies to war zones for live reportages we know about the risks and that (s)he might be killed. But Cultural places like music halls may not become battle fields by terrorists and killers… we wont accept this and we wont let take away our liberty of a freely life !!
