The Radio Man: Gerhard Müller ( † 09.09.2013)

Posted by ElJay Arem (IMC OnAir) on September 10, 2013

Dear colleagues, dear listeners !

Gerhard-Mueller-09092013-2… a friend and radio colleague is no more. GERDHARD MUELLER left this earth peacefully after a heavy fight against his illness since end of 2012. My warm and heartfully condolences to his family in Franken/Northern Bavaria.

Gerd was always a warm hearted guy… with lots of patiency. He was my technical backup at radio multicult.fm (Berlin) for more than one year… and he let me feel to be home in Kreutzberg when I started my radio broadcasting at radio multicult.fm in December 2011. Gerd was always helpfully and supporting with a tip… and most, he was inspiring with his love and energy for making radio. (Rec.: Gerd was a banker by profession but quit this job starting 28 years ago (1st Sept. 1985) his first radio show, later he became professional radio presenter for Broadcasting House Europe and Romanian Radio). Gerd even was publisher with his music label “Gift Music” and co-publisher of the WMCE (World Music Charts Europe).

Tks Gerd for your excellent and uniquely musical taste, and your passion for radio. It was a gift having known you…. you always will keep inspiring me. – R.I.P. / We will see us in Heaven of Sound.
