Hinweis: Die Förderinitiative IMC – India meets Classic heisst alle Musikfreunde aus dem deutsch-sprachigen Raum, aus Indien und aller Welt herzlich willkommen. Nach 6 Produktionsjahren für den deutschsprachigen Raum ist es an der Zeit, den Schritt auf’s internationale Parkett zu wagen. Nun heisst es jeden 3. Sonntag: Weltkulturradio. Von 15:00-17:00 Uhr gibt’s IMC – India meets Classic, weltweit hörbar als Internetradio aus Berlin…. und weiterhin in Hamburg (jeden 3. Montag), in Österreich und in der Schweiz.

In 2011 hat die weltweite Gemeinschaft von Musikliebhabern der indischen Klassik eine Anzahl von Verlusten verschmerzen müssen. Herausragende Meister im indischen Gesang (Rabindra Sangeet, Ghazal, Khayal, Dhrupad), Instrumentalspiel (Sarangi, Sitar, Bansuri/Flute) und auf der Tabla haben uns verlassen.

So steht die heutige Sendung unter der Überschrift “726 Jahre himmlische Musik – ein Rückblick auf das Jahr 2011” und präsentiert alle neun Künstler  mit ausgewählten Musiken. – Enjoy listening to good music !

The promotion initiative IMC – India meets Classic welcomes all musical friends around the globe, in India, abroad and in the German language area. After 6 years producing the show for the German language area its time now to go internationally as “world culture radio” every 3rd Sunday. You can listen worldwide to IMC – India meets Classic from 03:00 pm till 05:00 pm European Time (CET). Its 07:30 till 09:30 pm Indian time and 09:00 am till 11:00 am on East Coast of U.S.A. . Further on the show is broadcasted in Hamburg, North Germany (every 3rd Monday @ 11:00 pm), in Austria and Switzerland.

For all music lovers of Indian Classics around the globe 2011 was a tough year very often mourning for the greatest music maestros we have lost as composer or film maker, as vocalists (Rabindra Sangeet, Khayal, Dhrupad and Ghazal), Sarangi, Flute and Sitar player or as percussionist (Tabla).
