Odissi meets Cello (& Sitar)

Odissi meets Cello

A new combination of the South-Indian Odissi Dance (Gudrun Märtins – Dance/Choreography) with music from the classical traditions of India (Ashraf Sharif Khan – Sitar) and Europe (Birte Schultz – Cello), accompanied by Tabla (Manuel Hansen). Compositions are written by Sebastian Sprenger.

Der südindische Odissi-Tanz trifft auf Musik aus den klassischen Traditionen Indiens (Sitar) und Europas (Violoncello) – mit Gudrun Märtins (Tanz/Choreographie) und Schülerinnen, Ashraf Sharif Khan (Sitar), Birte Schultz (Violoncello), Manuel Hansen (Tabla/Percussion) und Sebastian Sprenger (Komposition).
