The performance will feature an extraordinary range of musical expression—from the deepest meditations to youthful fun and astonishing virtuosity. The percussionists add pizzazz to the performance with rhythmic texture that ranges from colourful, sparse punctuation to driving motives that swell to exhilarating levels during solo passages.

Creator of the Mohan Veena and the winner of the Grammy Award, Vishwa Mohan has mesmerized the world with his pristine pure, delicate yet fiery music.

[Shashank’s] youthful adventurousness combined with
his alreadyvirtuosic technique to produce improvisations
that pushed open the envelope of his music…
