“Rasa Yatra” – An Evening of Portrayal of various Rasas in different Ragas concept of Indian Classical Music by Lalita Ubhayaker and vocal recital by Purnima Kulkarni, Bharati Pratap and Meghana Kulkarni and Compere by Tara Kini. Accompaniment on Harmonium by Vyasamurti Katti and Tabla by Udayraj Karpur.

RASA YATRA is a journey through the essence of Ragas to create an experience of how different Ragas portray different moods. Does a Raga lend itself to one particular emotion or is it possible to convey a range of emotions within the magic of a single Raga framework? Join us on this exploratory journey and find out for yourself.
