MUMBAI: The India Radio Forum 2007 closed on a high note for Radio City 91.1 FM Bangalore, which took home the biggest prize of the night of Best Station of the Year. On the numbers front though, it was Big 92.7 FM with a tally of five awards.
There was more cheer for Radio City as its RJs came up tops in both Hindi (Love Guru) and English (Vasanthi).
Meanwhile, Red 93.5 FM’s Mallishka Rocks was adjudged the best show in Hindi while Fever 104 FM got the best new launch award.
In all Radio City,Red FM and 93.5 SFM carried home three awards each. Radio One and Fever 104 FM had two each. Radio Mirchi Bangalore, Radio One 94.3 and Radio Indigo had to be content with one award each.
The awards were sponsored by RCS sound software.
