The premier release of The First Forty Years 1967-2007
To celebrate the AACM – Ali Akbar College of Music’s 40th year of operation in the US, the AACM on it’s own has published an amazing book titled “The First Forty Years 1967-2007“.
The premier release of this commemorative book will be held on Sunday, November 4th, 7:00pm at the San Rafael Community Center, 618 “B” St. This occasion will also feature a tabla solo by Swapan Chaudhuri, and a very special talk and book signing by Masters Ali Akbar Khan and Swapan Chaudhuri.
Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased by calling 415-454-6264. Tickets are $45 and will include the concert, book, and signing. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
